Graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara. I earned a B.A. majoring in Sociology with a minor in Applied Psychology. Have taken graduate coursework and ultimately plan on earning MA degree in the field of Psychology.

- SAT score: 1800 - took all advanced math classes in high school Relevant college coursework in MATH: MATH 34A and 34B (Calculus for Social Science), Statistics, etc. Mathematics has always come relatively easy for me and I am willing to help students see the importance in applying math skills to their everyday lives. Relevant college coursework in PSYCHOLOGY: Developmental Psychology, Issues in Social Psychology, Intro to Psychology, Intro to Experimental Psychology, Practice in Applied Psychology, Issues in Social Psychology, Health Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Psychopathology, etc. I am eager to apply my knowledge in the field of Psychology in working with children who suffer from ADD/ADHD and learning disorders as I want to help them achieve their academic goals. I am particularly interested in a tutoring position because I know, from experience, how helpful a tutor can be in improving grades and relieving stress. I enjoy working with kids of all ages, and find great joy in helping them understand problems. I have been told by countless parents and coworkers that I have an incredible amount of patience. I enjoy making a difference and helping children learn while I, in turn, am learning from them.
