Hi! I am Patrick, and I currently reside in Keaau, HI. I graduated from Scottsdale Community College with an associate's degree in Mathematics, and Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. I previously tutored mathematics at Scottsdale Community College for several years while taking classes at Arizona State. I feel that assisting a student in understanding the subject matter before solving the answer is crucial in successful learning. I assist my students down the path to the answer so that they are able to discover the answers on their own; this promotes independent thinkers and builds skills used throughout life to solve problems of all kinds. I am able to tutor numerous mathematics courses from elementary school through college level, including science, statistics, and industrial engineering. I am also able to assist with the AP calculus AB exam. While not engaged in academia, I enjoy watching old movies, reading, riding a bicycle, or working on a car.
