I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people, I have served as a behavioral therapist for children with Autism and related developmental disorders. I completed a year-long externship at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, working with children and teenagers with cancer and blood diseases and their families, and interned at the Children, Youth, and Family Services Consortium, working with teenagers in school and their families as well. In addition, I have interned and completed my post-doctoral service at Chabad Residential Treatment Center, supporting primarily young men with drug and alcohol addictions along with their families. When it comes to students, I have tutored and mentored children, teenagers, and young adults with learning differences for the past 7+ years, and taught college students at UCLA in the Department of Psychology. I am an Adjunct Professor at American Jewish University in the Department of Psychology as well. I enjoy tutoring and mentoring students of all ages in Executive Functions, study skills, time management, and an array of academic subjects. My specialties include: Psychology, Math through Geometry & Algebra II, Reading, Writing, and Presenting. My goal is to help students not only do better in school academically, but to also empower them to thrive emotionally, psychologically, and socially in all aspects of their lives. When working with students, I focus on helping build their self-confidence and self-esteem through the work, drawing on their unique strengths to create a positive learning experience.
