I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California Los Angeles, and I currently attend the USC Dentistry school as a second-year student. My background in tutoring is quite expansive, with over twelve years under my belt teaching math, reading for a center, and providing individual private tutoring sessions. Aside from this, I specialize in helping students to prepare for the various standardized tests that they will encounter throughout their academic careers. I am able to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects, including math, Chemistry, English composition, and Spanish. My true love, however, is tutoring in math and helping students to learn new methods of solving problems. I feel that it is important to instill a sense of organization and time management skills in my students because I believe these help to create a solid foundation for learning. I believe that memorization is only half the equation and that if students can master these things then the learning process will be much more effective. All of my tutoring sessions are tailored to the individual, as every student learns differently. What works for one person may not work for another.
