I earned my degree from the University of California at San Diego. During my tenure as an undergraduate student, I started out on the path of sociology but ended up becoming a pre-dental student, fueled by my passion for the sciences. As for tutoring, I'm adept in teaching algebra, elementary math, biology, middle school math, chemistry, organic chemistry, college algebra, geometry, pre-algebra, and science. I'm also proficient in helping students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT. In the past, I've worked with diverse student populations, representing all ages and learning abilities. I practice the teaching philosophy that students need to comprehend the information first to make the application of the material easier. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy basketball and playing sports in general. I'm a firm believer that getting your body in tip-top shape paves the way to a fit mind, and a fit mind is capable of doing important things and achieving incredible results.
